An Important Discovery
Just found out that all of the meat or fish in not protein. Ever since I knew that men need 56 grams of protein every day, I was saving half of that 100 gram sausage for the next morning. But I was such a fool to do so, since 100 gram of sausage contains only 20 grams of protein. Same story with fish and egg.
This is great news since its a difficult task to stop the temptation to eat the whole piece of sausage or the whole can of fish. I was googling around random things and made this great discovery to save my skinny ass. No wonder why I feel so weak physically. Just finished the rest of the canned sardin fish from morning, now here I come, boosted on protein!
But what the heck is protein? And why do we need it?
Wikipedia says, ''Proteins are large biomolecules, or macromolecules, consisting of one or more long chains of amino acid residues. Proteins perform a vast array of functions within organisms, including catalysing metabolic reactions, DNA replication, responding to stimuli, and transporting molecules from one location to another.''
So dear friends, start counting the mass of protein you are eating!
